A free service with no guarantees.Lark.rip is a free project that runs in the spirit of the GPL license: you use the hosting at your own risk. We cannot promise perfect uptime or eternal preservation of files. If something breaks or data is lost, we cannot compensate the damage. For our part, we provide competent administration, 24/7 infrastructure monitoring and modern protection against network attacks to keep the service stable — our real uptime can always be checked on the external status page of BetterUptime.
Donations instead of tariffs. We don't sell services. Any paid features are simply our gratitude for your donations that keep our servers running. A refund is only possible in a proven situation where the service was fully or largely not provided. In all other cases (force majeure, project shutdown, an accidental payment) donations are not refunded. But in case of downtime — which, by the way, has never happened — we always credit donors with a generous compensation that more than covers the outage time.
EU laws and prohibited content. Our servers are located in Europe, so we must comply with European legislation. Hosting the following is strictly forbidden:
Phishing, viruses, miners and DDoS scripts.
Any illegal pornography or gore content containing violence.
Scam projects, financial pyramids and blatant spam.
Content that directly infringes copyright.
We reserve the right to provide logs, IP addresses and account data to law enforcement in the event of an official request related to a criminal investigation.
Research — yes, destruction — no.We are fine with security testing and vulnerability research, as long as you clean up after your experiments. But any deliberate sabotage is strictly forbidden. Attempts to fill the server with junk, disrupt other people's sites or deliberately attack the hosting infrastructure will result in an immediate account ban.
A place for living projects.Server resources are not infinite, so we periodically delete abandoned sites. If the control panel hasn't been opened for more than 6 months, or only our standard placeholder ("site created successfully") is left instead of real sites — such an account is wiped entirely. To keep your spot, just log in now and then.
Account recovery and the Telegram bot.We have minimized all e-mail activity, so providing an e-mail at registration is not even required. Because of this, classic password recovery by e-mail is not guaranteed — the letter may simply never arrive. For reliable account control, use the Telegram bot @larkrobot. Through it you can safely reset passwords and manage other useful features.
Make backups and never share passwords. You alone are responsible for everything uploaded to the hosting and for any actions performed under your login and password. Our system creates automatic backups daily, which can be requested for recovery in case of failures. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend regularly downloading up-to-date archives of your projects to your own computer for complete data security.
We do not restore account access or lost data if you voluntarily gave your credentials to third parties as a result of deception or misunderstanding. This applies to any compromise that is your fault: whether you gave your password to unscrupulous freelancers, entered your details on third-party phishing sites, or trusted scammers posing as tech support. Keeping your password safe is entirely your responsibility.
Policy on bans and reporting.Sites of rule-breakers are deleted immediately and their accounts are banned without warning. If you find phishing or scam hosted on our service, please send the link via the report page.
Mass registration of accounts in order to abuse the rules is strictly forbidden — in such cases all related accounts are subject to an indefinite ban. Linking virtual numbers (including public and private one-time SMS services) is penalized by deducting points, and repeated attempts to use them will lead to a complete account ban.
Final provisions.By using the Lark.rip service, the user confirms their full and unconditional agreement with the current rules. We reserve the right to change these rules at any time. By continuing to use the service, you agree to the current version of the rules. By registering for the service, you also confirm that you are at least 16 years old.
